C Tutorial Part 4-Comments

You might remember have noticed people using the REM command if you are familiar with QBASIC. Comments have the same function in C.

Comments come in use when you create a large application with many blocks of code. They help to remember which type of code you have used at one place and have simply no effect on the program.

An comment in C can be placed anywhere in the code of the program you are writing. It starts with slash asterisk(/*) and ends with asterisk slash(*/).
